Israel strikes kill over 60: Hamas
More than 60 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks in Gaza. Dozens were injured. The casualty occurred in the attack carried out overnight on Sunday.
The Ministry of Health of Gaza reported this on Monday.
Hamas' media office described the attack as "terrible". These attacks were carried out in southern Khan Yunus, Rafah and surrounding areas of Gaza City.
Hamas's media office claimed the overnight attack targeted two hospitals, a girls' school, and dozens of homes.
Hospitals are supposed to be protected under international humanitarian law. However, Israeli forces have repeatedly attacked the hospital in the ongoing war.
However, the Israeli military alleges that Hamas is using them as a 'command center' by building a hospital inside the tunnel; However, Hamas denies this.
The Palestinian independence organization and the ruling group of Gaza, Hamas, launched a massive attack on Israel on October 7. In response, Israel started an indiscriminate attack on the Gaza Strip from that day.
According to Gaza health authorities, more than 23,000 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip. Most of the dead were civilians.
